La Bodeguita in Venezia District

Had a great night at La Bodeguita in the Venezia district on Saturday. This place is really buzzing! Good reasonable food if you want it, friendly lively atmosphere and excellent music from Livorno's own Morning Skifflers. We booked a table which didn't have a view of the stage, but it was easy to move closer once the band started. Check it out!

Trio Montarbo at La Bodeguita, 18th April 2009Trio Montarbo at La Bodeguita, 18th April 2009I was there again at the weekend - this could become a habit! The music was a completely different story - the Trio Montarbo, who played loads of old stuff, especially David Bowie numbers. But right from the start, when they kicked off with my favourite Van Morrison track - Moondance - I knew it was going to be another great night....
