Football. Serie Bwin.

Well Livorno are in Serie B again and still never cease to amaze. A win one week followed by defeat the next. How can you lose 4-1 in Novara then score 5 in Ascoli a week later? I'm attending my first home game of the season versus Torino in a week or so and I'm taking in the away game against Atalanta in November. I just hope I catch the team on a good day.I'm looking forward to visitng Livorno again and experiencing it's hospitality. I hope the weather's good as it's not stopped raining here in England!

 Forza Livorno!!

Congratulations to AS Livorno

Congratulations to AS Livorno on getting promoted. I'm sure it was a great night when they defeated Empoli. Looking forward to the new fixture list and further visits to Livorno.

Playoff time for AS Livorno.

Hope you enjoyed the victory over Vicenza Sarah.Sadly the team finished 3rd in Serie B which means they have to playoff against Brescia over two legs.If victorious they play again over two legs, either against Novara or Empoli.I'm hoping to make the last game on June 2nd(if they get there)work permitting. However if not I'll have my fingers crossed all day.Hope springs eternal.

Calcio .AS Livorno 1 Novara 3.

I must be a jinx! It's been a while since I last watched Livorno live and they were beaten after having such a good run. It was an emotional night to begin with. A bouquet of flowers were laid by a player at a packed Curva Nord in rememberance of player Piermario Morrisini who sadly died a year ago. Both teams went for it at the begining but somehow Livorno lost their way(thoughts elsewhere?) and were soundly beaten. Though disappointed with the football I had had a great day in Livorno prior to the match thoroughly enjoying soaking up the sun on the promenade and walking all the way down to Ardenza Mare and back up to the football stadium. Having recently spent two weeks in Rome it was a pleasure to see the sea again and relax without any hustle and bustle.

The team are still lying 2nd in the table and are on course for promotion....fingers crossed.

It's been a while since I visited the website and I look forward to visitng again soon.

thank you

Great to have your comments Vincent. It's getting exciting now as we head towards the end of the season...will they make it back to Serie A?! Even I am going to the match on Saturday against Vicenza :)

Livorno v Empoli.

The very best of luck today for AS Livorno in their battle for promotion.Sadly I cannot attend due to work commitments.I have read 20,000 people will show up tonight andI'm sure it will be a great night.Fingers crossed from this little part of Oldham,England.Forza Livorno!!

Livorno 2-1 Torino.

I really enjoyed seeing another match in Livorno last weekend although the weather was terrible. Many of us missed a large chunk of the first half sheltering under the Curva Nord because of the rain but the eventual victory made up for it. I met some other Livorno fans who were over from Scotland and we celebrated early with a beer at half time.

I'm sorry I couldn't stay in Livorno as my friend wanted to see Siena but I'm hoping to make up for it with another visit later in the season.

Good to see the team on winning form again long may it continue.
