I am from Denmark, but are planning to move to Livorno if things turn out the way we hope. On holiday basis first, and later permanently.

I was in the sportopalace to see Livorno boxer and Amaranto fan Lenny Bottai become the national champion of Italia at welterweight, beating Adriano Nicchi in a split decision. In 10 brutal rounds of high class boxing, both fighters gave their all with Lenny coming out on top. Lenny Bottai is a credit to your town!!!

AS Livorno-Jekyll and Hyde.

Well this team really tests your emotions. Great last week against Roma,Lucarelli on fire. This week a hammering at Atalanta and hardly a shot made. Maybe they can pull off a magnificent victory at Inter then follow it up with a home loss to Bari!!! Still I'll be behind them hoping for the best,there's still time to get a winning run together. Forza Livorno.

Coppa Italia.

Congratulations to AS Livorno on progressing to the last 16 of the Coppa Italia beating Sampdoria 2-1 in Genoa. This match was shown live on British television via the satellite ESPN channel and it was a joy to watch with Livorno far outplaying their oppnents. Now it's the small task of overcoming Internazionale in the next round if they are to continue but for now congratulazioni Livorno.

Coppa Italia.

Sadly Livorno went out to Internazionale 1-0. A highly disputed free kick going against the Amaranto resulting in the goal. I know it's an old saying but now they can concentrate on the league and,hopefully,move out of that relegation zone.

Is it true that supporters need a special identity card from the club in order to purchase tickets for away games? I'm hoping to get to the Milan fixture in January and would like to sit with Livorno's fans if possible. Any replies would be much appreciated. Thanks,Vincent,England.

You should be ok if you get your ticket in Livorno with your passport as ID! I get to about 3 games a season and am going next to the Bari home game in March. Also going to the Lazio fixture in May. Have a look at this site for English speaking Livorno supporters, it is based in Scotland. We are going together in May!! http://aslivorno.proboards.com/index.cgi

Thanks son of uberman. I'm off to the Milan game at the San Siro flying directly there so haven't got time to get to Livorno first. Yes,a much needed win for the Amaranto. For once Livorno did not let their heads drop and played to the end finishing with Nico Pulzetti's header. Hopefully Mr.Sersi has inspired the team with confidence as they certainly can play when they want to. Forza Livorno!!
