After 20 years of lying closed and crumbling, the church's reopening marks a significant step towards its restoration. A series of panels gives an account of the work carried out over the past months, while a glimpse of the main church hall is enough to understand that there is still a long way to go to completely restoring the building to its former glory. However, the first steps have been made, and this is an encouraging event that will hopefully attract the attention of bodies or organisations capable of funding the further work needed.
