Le Vaschette, easily accessible rocky cove on the Romito coastline

Le Vaschette, one of the rocky bathing areas on the Romito coast, south of Livorno, ItalyLe Vaschette, one of the rocky bathing areas on the Romito coast, south of Livorno, ItalyLe Vaschette (No.8) is one of several rocky bathing areas along the Romito coastline just south of Livorno. It is the easiest one to get to from the road, having been provided with a series of wooden steps, and it is popular with families because of the ready-made pools - originally an Etruscan stone quarry! - which are safe for bathing even when the sea is rough. It can get quite noisy here when there are lots of kids and teenagers.
